TruSculpt iD
Fat Reduction

TruSculpt iD

TruSculpt iD is designed to reduce fat and contour the body. It uses radiofrequency energy to heat subcutaneous fat to 45–47°C, causing permanent fat cell destruction (apoptosis). Up to 24% fat reduction per treatment area can be achieved.

Treatment areas include the abdomen, flanks, thighs, under-chin, upper arms, back, and other “difficult” areas because the pads are flexible and adaptable.

TruSculpt iD – FAQs

What is TruSculpt iD?

TruSculpt iD is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses radiofrequency energy to permanently reduce stubborn fat cells in specific areas of the body.

How does it work?

Radiofrequency energy heats the deeper fat layer beneath the skin to a temperature that destroys fat cells. Over the following weeks, the body naturally removes these dead fat cells, reducing the thickness of the fat layer and improving contour.

Which areas can be treated?
  • Abdomen
  • Flanks
  • Thighs
  • Bra fat/back
  • Under-chin/jawline
  • Upper arms
  • Buttocks
How long is a treatment session?

A typical session is about 15 minutes per area. Many patients have one session per area, though additional sessions may be recommended based on goals.

Is it painful?

Most patients feel a warm, deep heating sensation during treatment. It’s generally described as tolerable, and there is usually no need for anaesthesia.

Is there down time?

No. TruSculpt iD is non-invasive with no required down time. You can return to normal activities immediately. Some mild redness or warmth for a few hours is common.

When will I see results?

Visible changes often begin as early as 4–6 weeks after treatment. Optimal results typically appear around 12 weeks as the body continues to clear treated fat cells.

How many treatments do I need?

Most people are satisfied with 1–2 treatments per area. The exact number depends on your goals, body composition, and practitioner recommendation.

Is the fat reduction permanent?

Yes — the fat cells destroyed by TruSculpt iD do not regenerate. However, remaining fat cells can still enlarge with weight gain, so maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important.

Who is a good candidate?

Good candidates are healthy adults with stubborn fat that is resistant to diet and exercise. Ideal patients are at or near their target weight but want localised improvement.

Are there side effects?

Common short-term effects include warmth and mild tenderness, slight swelling, or redness. These usually resolve within a few hours to a couple of days.

Can TruSculpt iD replace weight loss?

No. It’s not a weight-loss treatment — it’s a body contouring treatment for localised fat reduction, best suited for people close to their ideal weight.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary by the number of areas treated. A personalised quote will be provided based on your goals and treatment plan.
