Fat Deposits

Some people who are at ideal or near ideal body weight have fat deposits that are hard to shift despite a healthy diet and work-out routine.

At Pulse Aesthetics we use Trusculpt to treat these areas and to lessen the visual impact of these stubborn areas on the neck, arms, abdomen and thighs.

Fat Deposits Context

Trusculpt Technology

Trusculpt uses radiofrequency to gently heat the fat under the skin. The effect of this is gradual loss of damaged fat cells. The average loss of fat cells in the treated areas is about 24% over the next 6 to 12 weeks.

The procedure is comfortable for many (often described like a 'hot stone massage') since the skin temperature is monitored and kept within safe parameters. As the process involves stimulation of collagen, there may also be some associated skin tightening.

Note: Trusculpt is a contouring system and is not designed for weight loss. Maintenance of results depends on maintaining a stable weight and healthy lifestyle.

Trusculpt Treatment

Common Target Areas

Trusculpt can be used on various parts of the body to refine definition.

  • Neck: Particularly under the chin where 'double chin' may be an issue.
  • Arms: Targeting the laxity and fat behind the upper arms.
  • Abdomen: Often the resistant fat deposit beneath the umbilicus.
  • Legs: The inner thighs, outer thighs and ankles are the usual targets.
